Seven areas of pet and home products, rebuilt every morning from that morning's price check. A product appears only when its price is at least 10% below its own median over our daily checks, or Amazon runs a time-limited deal on it.

How we sort real deals from the rest

  • Real deal today means this morning's price is at least 10% below the product's own median price over our daily checks, or Amazon is running a time-limited deal on it.
  • A crossed-out price on its own never counts. Products where Amazon showed a discount of 10% or more at every one of our checks are counted separately as always "on offer" and are not shown here.
  • We check every product in our list once each morning. The median test needs at least 7 daily checks; an Amazon time-limited deal counts from the first check.

Why this list changes every morning

Each group is rebuilt from that morning's check. A product that was a real deal yesterday leaves the list when its price goes back up, and a deal can last a single morning.

The stamp at the top of the page says when prices were checked. The price Amazon shows when you place the order is the one you pay.

What these lists leave out

Flea, tick and worm treatments, medicines and supplements are never in these groups, even when Amazon discounts them. Neither are bark collars, shock mats or other aversive training devices.

Heaters on this page are electric only. Gas, paraffin and propane heaters burn fuel indoors and are left out.

Products that showed a discount at every one of our checks are listed on their own as always "on offer". Products that were often discounted but are not today are listed as often on offer, but not today. Neither list is a forecast.
